Staple the back of wood with carpet held down ,with 6 staples one inch per staple until it binds to the wood on one side of the wood and repeat so they are Neat. Tuck in the back sides and staple 3-4 staples per Inch board on carpet. Than Pull the back in and staple once in middle. You;ll have this when they are stapled together on the sides repeat. Already fighting over the new scratch toy. The non stapled side is what side you give your cat.
